Religious Views:
Religion Names: Skerean, Excion, Rectarian, and Saevic
God: Dieux. A violent, controlling god who controls reality itself, it is the embodiment of light, knowledge, and judgment. Diuex had all the other gods banished when its religion, Skerean, took over, casting out Exicon (The religion of Omen), Rectarian (The religion of Cavon), and Saevic (The religion of Rendar). Dieux is not male or female and is always portrayed as a genderless being, almost like a puppet doll without any distinguishing marks, unlike Omen and Rendar who are clearly male and Cavon who is clearly female. Dieux's alters are usually gold or white and relate to light.
Anti-Gods:
Omen. The god of self preservation, and power. Omen is not a cruel god, rather he is a god who sees personal cases as more important then the whole, and values power over everything, hence why he does not usually grant the prayers of people, making him considerably less popular then the ruling god, Dieux. He is the ultimate superior in X'elon's eyes, he must overcome this anti-god, and more importantly Dieux so he may become the ultimate master of darkness, and subsequently everything. Omen was the final god to be cast down by Dieux and still retains a small cult following that refers to itself as the Exodus. Omen is always shown as being male, his body is usually thin and he is coated in thick armour-like skin, he eyes are green and he has a long beard. The alters of Omen are usually green and black, colours of self.
Cavon. The god of selflessness and harmony. A fairly kind god who enjoys answering prayers but her fatal flaw is that as the god of selflessness she never attempted to appear as a god but instead would take a human form before humanity and when Dieux rose to power it had no issues in convincing the people that Cavon was a false god and was the first god to be banished. Always portrayed as a woman, Cavon was usually seen in rags and poor health, however her beauty was said to showed through all that because of the goodness of her heart. Although still a banished god her cult following is far more accepted then Omen's or Rendar's. Her alters are always blue and yellow.
Rendar. The god of emotion and war. Although considered the meanest of gods due to his desire for war, Rendar is not actually evil at all and in fact is quite kind. However the belief of Rendar and his followers is that the birth of conflict is the lack of emotion. Rendar states that humanity failed to become full of emotion and because of that war must fill the world until everyone feels true emotions. Due to it's radical and violent ideas, Saevic, the religion of Rendar, never grew very strong in popularity and when Dieux rose to power it was easily eliminated as a serious religion, it bears a very tiny cult following filled mostly with extremist soldiers apposed to the tight fisted rule of Dieux. Always portrayed as a man with many swords at his side and riding a horse. Alters are red and brown.
X'elon's Personal View: Although X'elon believes in the gods he despises them because he sees gods as superiors, and as such he wants to overcome them. The one god he even remotely respects is Omen because Omen is a god of strength and power of the singular person, as such X'elon respects Omen but at the same time sees him as the ultimate superior and X'elon wishes to defeat him most of all. X'elon desperately hates culture because he sees no point in it but he is by no means an anarchist, X'elon likes structure and reason and his morality is actually very high but things such as marriage, faith, and the masses sicken X'elon as he considers life all about the singular being, not the pleasure of the masses. In other words he considers morals important if they are natural morals (do not kill, rape, steal, ect), but cultural morals like marriage completely pointless.
